Overview

Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability (CSR) Practitioners are found in all industries and are increasingly a key component of virtually all types of business models where profit and growth are a means to an even greater end. The role acts as a social conscience for the organisation, helping innovate and drive ambitions for social and environmental change.

Training covers the major areas a Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Practitioner will experience, including:

  • Working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Being an advocate for social conscience for the organisation.
  • Reaching out into the community to work collaboratively.
  • Being responsible for ownership of corporate responsibility and sustainability campaigns, projects, and events.
  • Being passionate about social and environmental change.
  • Promoting human rights, carbon reduction, waste management, energy efficiency and supply chain.
  • Helping to ensure the organisation acts to embed the strategy into every-day business practices and in turn managing risk and reputation.

Apprenticeship Level: Level 4

Typical duration: 36 months
