About Us
KLM UK Engineering Limited is a wholly-owned subsidiary of KLM, operating from Norwich International Airport. We provide Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) services for various aircraft types, specializing in narrow bodies and regional fleets in our six fully equipped maintenance bays
Why study with us
KLM UK Engineering has been providing technical training courses and aircraft apprenticeships to the industry from its site at Norwich Airport for over 40 years.
Our apprentices complete the Aircraft Maintenance Technician (ST1315) standard and join the KLM UK Engineering team in supporting customers from around the globe and learning in the International Aviation Academy Norwich - a world-class training centre and the first of its kind.
Location and delivery style
The training facility is located in the purpose-built International Aviation Academy Norwich (IAAN), an aviation centre of excellence, providing state of the art classrooms and workshops, and allowing hands on experience on the live Boeing 737 Classic Generation aircraft called ELSIE.
The facility is located next to the base maintenance hangars, making it a convenient and inspirational place to study. Training delivery is purely face-to-face, with year 1 taking place at the IAAN, and years 2 and 3 in the workplace.
