Levy Support Scheme Impact Report (2023-25)
The Levy Support Scheme is delivered as part of a strategic portfolio; through Apprenticeships Norfolk.
The purpose of the scheme is to connect businesses to share unspent apprenticeship levy funds through levy transfers, to support the cost of apprenticeship training. This enables funding (that would otherwise have been returned to HM Treasury) to remain in and contribute to the Norfolk economy. This bespoke matching service and wraparound support for Norfolk employers, originally set out to achieve the following objectives:
- To match/deliver £1m of successful levy transfers within two financial years (FY2023/24 to FY2024/25).
- Develop opportunities for non-financial support, for example business to business corporate mentoring.
- Develop opportunities for strategic partnerships.
This report highlights the scheme's activity, during the period of the first two financial years; from 1st April 2023 through to 31st March 2025.
