About Us
At Shaping Lives, we are a specialist apprenticeship training provider focused on the Early Years sector. Our mission is to empower nurseries and early years settings by developing skilled, confident, and passionate practitioners who help shape the futures of the children in their care.
We work closely with nurseries across the country, supporting over 1500 learners, with 91% reporting they were happy with their apprenticeship and the development this has brought them. This is including a growing number in Norfolk, which we are continuing to expand through strong local partnerships. Our approach is highly personalised, ensuring every learner receives the support, guidance, and practical experience they need to succeed.
Our Unique Selling Point is our sector-specific focus. We work exclusively within Early Years, meaning every part of our programme — from curriculum design to tutor expertise — is tailored to the unique challenges and rewards of working with children aged 0-5. Our team of Early Years specialists provide consistent, high-quality support to both learners and employers, helping to raise standards and outcomes across the board.

Enrolment
All apprenticeships are remotely enrolled and take around 2 hours to complete. These enrollments happen daily across the working week with no cohorts so your learners can get started on their journey right away.
Training Centre Locations
All our online learning is completed remotely via group workshops and 121 sessions with the apprentices' dedicated personal tutor. OTJ training is completed in the setting or via remote sessions and is uploaded to our learner management system Bud.
Accessibility and Transport Links
Shaping Lives delivers all the course content remotely online through pre-booked sessions. This means there is no need to travel, and for any observations, the personal tutor will come directly to your early years setting for face-to-face observations.
