About Us

Tiro is the leading training provider for Science and Technology apprenticeships. We've been helping hungry apprentices to join ambitious businesses since 2005.

Along the way, we've helped some of the UK's leading organisations to staff up for major projects, and helped micro-businesses become SMEs. We'll help you grow too.

Here at Tiro, we act as a partner, not just a supplier. Every aspect of our apprenticeships is developed in collaboration with our clients. From winning senior buy-in for your apprenticeship scheme, to training future mentors. From selecting the best possible candidates, to delivering training how, when, and where it suits you.

Why study with us

We pride ourselves on developing close and mutually beneficial relationships with employers. Every business is different. That's why we create flexible, bespoke training programmes to address the unique skills gaps science and tech industries need to fill.

Every aspect of our apprenticeships is developed in partnership with our clients, creating a 'win-win' situation where the apprentice can truly thrive and make a difference in their workplace.

Enrolment

Every business is different. We'll get to know you and create a unique programme to add value fast. It's a method that really works.

We understand your resourcing needs won't stick to anyone else's schedule. We don't work to arbitrary start dates around the academic, calendar or tax years. We'll find your apprentices whenever you need them.

Our learning programmes are built with employers, for employers. They're modularised and flexible, to develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours you need. And all training is delivered through a flexible mix of online and on-site training.

Training Centre Locations

Your apprentice will work for you while pursuing a nationally recognised learning programme.

Most of their time will be spent doing the job. Learning the ropes in a hands-on role, with the help of colleagues and mentors.

They'll also spend 6 hours of their contracted time on the formal learning elements, including any learning you provide as an employer. An expert Tiro tutor will lead the apprentice through the learning programme, which combines academic, practical and technical training.

We take a blended approach to learning, acknowledging the benefits of in-person coaching - delivered at your usual place of work - and the accessibility of online self- paced and tutor-supported learning.

We will map out a training plan at the start of their apprenticeship. Apprenticeships typically last anywhere from 1-4 years. By the end of the programme, they'll have developed the knowledge, skills, and behaviours they'll need in your chosen field.
