Enrolment

We enrol apprentices onto our programmes all year round.

We support employers with the recruitment of apprentices via one of the two methods below:

Full recruitment support

We advertise the apprenticeship role and screen candidates. We discuss the apprenticeship programme and the job role with candidates, and we perform eligiblity checks. Employers review the CVs, undertake interviews and any assessments they might want to apply and we manage the process, providing the full recruitment service to the employer and and the candidates.

Collaborative recruitment support

An employer might want to manage their own recruitment process or already know someone they want to hire, we can provide as much of the recruitment process as they need or just the minimum involvement (which would entail us conducting the eligibility checks for any perspective apprentices in order to ensure funding requirements are met).

Once a candidate has began their new role with the employer, we get in touch to organise an enrolment meeting. Here, both the apprentice and line manager are given all of the details and timeline of the programme. Then we get going with teaching and mentor sessions!

Delivery Model

We deliver nationally via a live, virtual model. This means apprentices don't need to travel, they can join their online sessions from work or home, depending on what has been agreed with their employer.

Live virtual teaching is an approach where the entire curriculum, teaching methods, and resources are specifically chosen and/or developed for virtual learning. Live virtual learning, when done right, is not simply online lecturing. It is a far more sophisticated and effective model designed to create a flexible learning environment without losing any of benefits of in-person teaching.

Training

A maximum classroom size of 12 ensures a highly effective trainer to apprentice ratio. This facilitates enhanced apprentice engagement, effective group collaboration exercises, keeps discussion free flowing with space for all apprentices to contribute and enables more individualised learning.

In these sessions, trainers can easily identify opportunities where apprentices could benefit from further support. Likewise, they are able to spot opportunities to stretch and challenge apprentices where appropriate.

Sessions comprise of theory delivery combined with individual and group activities, along with the use of technical labs and interactive illustrations. We teach the latest industry relevant concepts, along with how to use the most common tools and platforms, enabling the apprentices to put their learning into practice.

Teaching sessions are typically scheduled for 1.5 to 2.5 hours and are delivered weekly. Attention span is optimised and apprentices develop faster as new knowledge is more easily retained. Progress to vocational competence happens more quickly when the cycle of learning and then practice takes place on a real time basis.

Accessibility and Transport Links

Our training is delivered via an online live virtual model, meaning apprentices don't need to travel, they can join their online sessions from work or home, depending on what has been agreed with their employer.
