About Us
Poultec Training is an independent apprenticeship and training provider based in Mattishall, Norfolk. Established in 1997, we support learners and employers across the region and nationally through apprenticeships, work-based qualifications, eLearning and short courses designed to help people develop valuable skills and businesses strengthen their workforce.
We work with learners and employers across a range of sectors, including business administration, customer service, leadership and management, dental, healthcare, food and drink manufacturing, and poultry.
At Poultec, we pride ourselves on offering a personal and flexible approach. We take time to understand each learner, each employer and the needs of the workplace, ensuring training is relevant, supportive and manageable throughout the apprenticeship journey.

At Poultec, we understand that every learner is different. Our tutors take time to get to know each apprentice, including their role, goals and support needs, so training can be adapted to help them develop and succeed in their role.
Through one-to-one tutor support, workplace visits, practical work-based learning and regular progress reviews, apprentices are supported to apply new knowledge, skills and behaviours directly in the workplace.
This personalised approach benefits both learners and employers, helping apprentices stay on track, make progress and contribute positively to their team.

Enrolment
Poultec offers year-round enrolment for many apprenticeship programmes, allowing employers and learners to access training when it is needed most.
Our team supports both the learner and employer through each stage of the enrolment process, including eligibility checks, funding guidance, programme requirements and initial planning.
Enrolment can be completed remotely or face to face, making the process straightforward and accessible.
For employers looking to recruit a new apprentice, Poultec can also provide free apprentice recruitment support, helping you advertise vacancies and attract suitable candidates.
Training Centre Locations
Poultec's head office is based in Mattishall, Norfolk. However, apprenticeship delivery is provided through a flexible blend of remote tutor-led sessions, usually via Microsoft Teams, and in-person tutor support within the learner's workplace.
Depending on the programme, delivery may include online learning, workplace visits, one-to-one tutor support, practical observations, eLearning and regular progress reviews.
Accessibility and Transport Links
As apprenticeship training is usually delivered remotely or within the learner's workplace, regular travel to a training centre is not typically required.
Where learners or employers need to attend Poultec's head office or another training location, our team can provide information on accessibility, travel arrangements and any support required in advance.
