About Us

Peterborough Skills Academy is a dedicated apprenticeship training provider with a strong track record of supporting learners across Norfolk and the surrounding areas. With a team of experienced staff who are passionate about helping individuals and businesses thrive, we work closely with employers to deliver high-quality training that makes a real difference in the workplace.

We currently support over 100 learners nationally, helping them develop valuable knowledge, skills and behaviours to progress in their careers. Our unique strength lies in our personalised approach — each learner receives tailored support from expert assessors who understand the demands of real working environments.

Why Study With Us

Choosing Peterborough Skills Academy means choosing a provider that truly cares about your success. We pride ourselves on building strong relationships with both learners and employers, offering flexible, responsive training that fits around real-life work and responsibilities. Our assessors bring industry experience and genuine passion to every interaction, helping apprentices stay motivated and on track.

Our apprenticeships are more than just qualifications — they're a springboard for career development, personal growth, and long-term impact in the workplace. Whether you're an individual looking to upskill or an employer investing in your team, we're here to make the process simple, worthwhile and successful from day one.

Enrolment

We offer rolling enrolment opportunities, making it easy for learners and employers to start their apprenticeship journey without delay. Enrolment typically begins with an initial conversation to understand the learner's goals and the needs of the employer. We then carry out a skills scan and induction before officially starting the programme. Our process is designed to be clear, efficient, and supportive at every step.

Training Centre Locations

Our main training centre is based in Peterborough, with additional delivery available at employer sites across the county. We combine in-centre training sessions with regular workplace visits and remote learning to suit the needs of each employer and apprentice. Off-the-job (OTJ) training is integrated into the programme and can include workshops, shadowing, project work and structured learning sessions — all aligned to the apprenticeship standard.

Accessibility and Transport Links

Our Peterborough training centre is easy to reach, with good access to local bus and rail networks as well as ample on-site parking. We strive to ensure all learners can access the support they need, and our facilities are equipped to accommodate a wide range of learning requirements. We're always happy to discuss any specific accessibility needs and put the right arrangements in place to ensure every learner feels welcome and supported.
