Enrolment

For most of our programmes we offer a rolling enrolment process to meet the needs of the employers. Some of our programmes do have set dates for cohorts including our Accountancy Apprenticeships.

Training Centre Locations

We have a vast amount of Personal Tutors within the Norfolk area that will be able to support learners on a 1-2-1 basis whether that be virtually or in person in the workplace. Online Live delivery and Online blended courses for all of our apprenticeships.

Case Studies

Toni Mason - Adult Care

When Toni Mason started her Healthcare Support Worker Level 2 apprenticeship with Paragon Skills, she was still very new to her career. However once she passed this, she quickly progressed onto her Level 3 Adult Care Worker apprenticeship and took huge steps forward with her career at the ANA treatment centre. Toni believe this is due to the knowledge, skills and behaviour she learnt whilst on her programme with Paragon Skills.

Following her training, Toni was soon offered a position as a trainee counsellor and spent the next five years qualifying as a counsellor. Toni now leads the entire counselling team at ANA Treatment centre and is a role model for the other care workers to look up to. Toni also manages her own secondary centre within the same business and is managing a team of carers and counsellors.

Neil Baxter - Adult Care

Neil spent over 20 years in the Army before going into the care sector. "I was only going to spend a few months in care until I figured out what I wanted to do. But I soon realised I loved it." He was encouraged to enrol for an apprenticeship by a tutor at Paragon Skills, "So I thought I'd give it a go - and I really enjoyed it."

Not everything was plain sailing, however. "The biggest challenge was the functional skills tests - the maths and English. But my Personal Tutor was brilliant. There was no such thing as a stupid question. She explained things in a nice, sensible, easy-to-understand way. She was very approachable and very knowledgeable and she took account of the fact that I may not have had a lot of experience in social care but I did of the military. So she made examples relevant to that experience."

Neil says his apprenticeship has made him more confident and comfortable in his role and given him "a lot more employability within the company".

He is now planning to do the next level apprenticeship - a Level 3 in care and management. "Once I complete the next course, I can do more senior roles. All in all, it's been a very positive experience".
