About Us
We currently work with employers from across the whole region of Norfolk including Thetford, King's Lynn, Holt, Great Yarmouth, Norwich and more. Apprenticeships need the partnership of local businesses to be successful, so we are urging employers to get involved, and help us create new employment opportunities across Norfolk.
100% of our successful completers in 2019/20 remained in sustainable employment.
We were in the top 6% of all providers nationally for successfully turning around our delivery to digital within four weeks of the first national lockdown in March 2020. This means our apprenticeship programme was able to continue and develop safely whilst providing a service to Norfolk businesses and residents.
We can also support with you maths and English and help you gain functional skills up to and including Level 2 with our pre-apprenticeship programmes.
Why study with us
Employers are offered the opportunity to contribute to the design and tailor programmes to match their needs; the mixture of on and off the job learning ensures apprentices learn the bespoke skills your business needs. This means that training apprentices is more cost effective than hiring skilled staff, leading to lower overall training and recruitment costs.
Take a look at our current programmes: Adult Learning apprenticeship training - Norfolk County Council
Through our programme we can help you to attract and retain the best talent for your business, by way of injecting energy, vibrancy and enthusiastic young people with fresh ideas into your organisation.
You can take on a new apprentice or up skill existing staff. Apprentices aged 16-18 are free with no employer contribution, whilst those aged 19+ the employer will need to make an employer contribution.
If you are a Small Medium Enterprise Business your contributions are 5% of the funding band and the government pays the 95%.
We can provide you with guidance and support on what funding support is available to you.
