About Us
AKG Learning is an apprenticeship and skills training provider specialising in the delivery of Childcare and Early Years apprenticeships at Levels 2, 3 and 5. We have recently aquired Catch22 Apprenticeship provision and now also deliver the following:

Working in Norfolk and London as well as across the whole of England for over 15 years, we are experts at providing quality training and we are able to match businesses with the right apprentices for their vacancies. We are also proud to offer in-house functional skills support, learning support and ESOL provision.
We have built an established reputation as a reliable and quality-driven training provider throughout England. We work together with employers and individual learners to design and deliver training that meets their needs. A well-established partnership exists with over 300 organisations including Children's Centres, Nurseries as well as a broad range of childcare settings.

All of our tutors are experts in their field, and we ensure they have low caseloads, meaning they offer every learner the attention and support they need to succeed. We know the challenges that both learners and employers face in the Childcare sector especially and we offer tailored support throughout the apprenticeship journey. We pride ourselves on the holistic development of learners. Taking a three-prong approach focusing on educational support, professional development and soft skills. This means learners finish their course not just as qualified practitioners but having learnt an abundance of essential skills to help them thrive in all areas of their life. Teaching includes online lessons and support sessions, expert curriculum plans, exam and EPA prep, study guides, in-person visits and more. Learners will engage with professional development activities such as CV writing, interview preparation, careers advice sessions, webinars and one-to-one mentoring. They will also develop soft skills such as time management, problem solving, stress management, decision making and will engage in confidence building activities.
We have a highly skilled and dedicated ESOL team, who are experienced in adapting their teaching to meet the specific English language needs for childcare settings and we offer in-house learning support for those with additional learning needs.
Enrolment
We enrol year-round, to suit the needs of the business and the learner our enrolment process is through and makes sure the learners are on the correct level, that they understand what will be expected of them and how we will support them.
Enrolment is online starting with an discussion and Information, advice and guidance being given. They will then attend an online enrolment session to complete all paperwork with support from an enrolment officer.
Training Centre Locations
We have tutors in Norfolk and Suffolk supported by head office in London. We use a blended approach to our deliver model which includes online groups learning, one to one sessions, and visits to the workplace. We ensure our training plan is individualised and considers training needs. The training we provide is up to date, relevant and meets industry standards.
The requirement for on and off the job training is approximately six hours a week, this includes workplace training and dedicated time for study, worked around the times that suit the business. This is tracked via our online portfolio -Laser and through 10-12 week triangulated reviews.
